John Meredith

John is an independent filmmaker with significant industry experience, lots of energy and a fresh approach.

He has worked in the film and television industry for over twenty-five years, mostly engaged in production as well as marketing and business development activities.

Having started his career as a Production Runner, he eventually grew into various executive roles including: Film Commissioner/LA Representative, Ausfilm; Executive Liaison, Fox Studios Australia; Executive Producer/Head of Production, GMD Film.

In recent years he has pursued his long-held interest in documentary filmmaking. In 2014 he established Full Moon Hot Sun and has been creating short factual films, event-based films, profiles and other content for corporate and music industry clients including Citibank, Samsung, Westfield, Hurley, Universal Music Group, Mushroom Group and Ivy League Records.

At the same time he has been developing and producing his own documentary projects. In 2016 his short documentary film Into The Maelstrom was one of sixteen finalists films screened at Tropfest Sydney.
